imagemagick-6.q16 software package provides image manipulation programs -- quantum depth Q16, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install imagemagick-6.q16
imagemagick-6.q16 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the imagemagick-6.q16 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep imagemagick-6.q16 *
You will get with imagemagick-6.q16 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
